Melting our cares away... yeah, we melted all right, in the 100 degree natural hot springs at Tabacon Spa & Gardens.
This place was incredible. There was natural flowing volcanically heated water coming from Arenal Volcano, that was channelled
through a series of man made pools. Some of the pools were even built to look like natural ponds, with waterfalls everywhere.
The gardens were covered with natural vegitation, and had a very exotic feel to them. Here we enjoyed a much
deserved spa treatment. Volcanic mud wrap, facial, and full body massage. We had our own private hut, and private hot spring pool to
rinse off in. Wow.
Of course a vacation just wouldn't be a vacation without a drink next to the pool bar. We quickly found it wasn't
the most refreshing place to have a beverage, because the pool we sat in was about 96 degrees.
